About the Role 

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated R&D laboratory technician to join our laboratory team in Breukelen. In this role, you will provide technical support across multiple project teams, working within different scientific disciplines such as microbiology, product formulation, and product testing. The focus will be on BPR support and FM management support.

This position is fully lab-based and offers a great opportunity for someone with a chemistry background who enjoys practical, experimental work and wants to grow in a dynamic R&D environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Assist formulation managers and BPR efficacy manager in preparing samples for BPR efficacy and other related studies

Assist formulation managers wi th new product developments and ongoing innovation projects.

Evaluate the cleaning performance of new and existing products. 

Support raw material projects, including testing and approval of alternative ingredients. 

Support and guide interns and new employees to help them understand R&D practices and processes at Diversey. 

Contribute to consumer and product testing activ ities and provide technical input to customer-related projects. 

Who We’re Looking For 

MLO degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or Laboratory Sciences. 

Experience: Recent graduates and candidates with up to 3 years experience

Skills & Competencies: 

Strong chemistry background, preferably with formulation and raw material experience. 

Flexible, pragmatic, and able to work independently. 

Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch or English. 

Hands-on mentality and a structured, quality-focused approach to lab work.
