Responsibilities The Opportunity This role will assist the Ingredient Specification Management team located in the Mexico Capability Center (MCC) to ensure exceptional service is provided in support of R&D Spec Management globally. This role will apply technical expertise and coordinate with in-market and MCC employees, as well as external resources when required, to develop clear and concise Ingredient specifications, maintain existing specs and supplier relationships, and manage tracking and uploading into relevant systems. Your Impact As an R&D Specification Management Analyst your functions would consist of: ● Develop, update, and maintain clear, accurate ingredient specifications from initial readiness through supplier commercial qualification, leveraging internal and external resources ● Understand and uphold Ingredient, Supplier, Third Party, and Formula Standards ● Collaborate with in-market R&D spec teams, MCC teams, cross-functional stakeholders (PD, FS, RA, QA, Procurement, SQA), and external suppliers to ensure complete and accurate specifications ● Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, gathering required technical information, managing questionnaires, and driving timely follow-ups to completion ● Initiate material testing requests when required and validate specification quality parameters ● Upload and manage supplier specifications and material qualifications in Product Vision, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation ● Ensure all requests are processed and delivered within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) ● Identify, escalate, and support resolution of business-critical issues to prevent material supply risks or production disruptions ● Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to R&D Leadership for continuous improvement Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience • 6 months to 1 year of experience in R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, or Specifications (internships or early-career roles acceptable) • Fluent in English (oral and written) • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new systems and tools • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proactive mindset and willingness to work with cross-functional and global teams • Basic understanding of Food Safety, Microbiology, and Regulatory requirements If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
