R&D Software Engineer III
**Title:** R&D Software Engineer III **Location:** San Diego, CA **Duration:** 6 Months | 100% Onsite **Pay Range:** $56/ hr to $60/ hr (On W2) We are looking for a **“R&D Software Engineer III** ” to join one of our Leading Healthcare Client. **Position Summary:** We are seeking an experienced **R&D Software Engineer III** to lead the technical implementation of cloud-based solutions. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with global software teams to develop, enhance, and support software products, while promoting Agile development and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead cloud solution development, working with local and remote teams. + Define project scope, timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery. + Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement best practices. + Collaborate across functions including V&V and QA. + Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS preferred). + 10+ years of experience in software/system development, preferably in connected device or medical device environments. + Strong Agile background (SCRUM, TDD, Kanban). **Technical Skills:** + Cloud: Azure (Functions, App Services, AKS, Key Vault, etc.) + Identity Platforms: Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta + Programming: Python, C#, REST APIs (FastAPI, ASP.NET Core) + CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins + IaC: Terraform + Frontend: React, Angular + Tools: Veracode, Fortify, Log Analytics + Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID, TLS, and cybersecurity. **Preferred:** + Experience with medical device regulations (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR Part 820). + Familiarity with cloud testing and post-market software validation. + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work across global teams. **We are looking for the candidate who are eligible to work with any employers without sponsorship** .
