R&D Packaging Engineer Supervisor

Make It With Pride.** Working as part of a cross functional team, you lead RDQ activities to complete packaging design and packaging deployment for innovation/growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience. **How you will contribute** You will independently coordinate technical work for projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks, and coordinate projects to determine appropriate packaging specification information using sampling and supplier management and pilot-plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In this role, you will also develop activities such as packaging design and specifications, scale up, commissioning, etc., and plan for the effective use of resources including the use of external agencies and suppliers. To succeed in this role, you will use your understanding of equipment design and manufacturing processes to ensure that packaging specifications are determined with excellence. Esta posición es crucial para promover la innovación en empaques, acompañar nuevas iniciativas de sustentabilidad y productividad, y dar soporte a planta para mantener la operación. El candidato(a) ideal tendrá una sólida formación técnica, habilidades de liderazgo y capacidad para gestionar múltiples proyectos simultáneamente. En esta posición: + Liderarás proyectos para determinar la información adecuada sobre las especificaciones de pack, desde el pack primario hasta el palletizado, mediante el muestreo y la gestión de proveedores, así como ensayos en plantas piloto y fábricas, de acuerdo con las buenas prácticas de fabricación y los requisitos de HACCP. + Participarás de equipos interdisciplinarios y coordinarás el trabajo técnico para llevar a cabo los proyectos de acuerdo con los requisitos de RDQ, marketing y fabricación, comunicando eficazmente el estado y los riesgos. + Desarrollarás actividades como el diseño, definición de estructuras y especificaciones de embalaje, planos mecánicos, pruebas en planta, desarrollo de nuevos proveedores, montaje de nuevas líneas de producción, aumento de capacidades, entre otras. + Trabajarás en un equipo multicategoría que te dará la oportunidad de conocer distintos materiales, plantas y líneas de producción, y múltiples desafíos. + Al ser una empresa multinacional, tendrás soporte y conexión con otros países y unidades de negocio para compartir obstáculos y brindar soluciones. **Requisitos específicos del puesto:** + Graduado/a de Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería en Alimentos, Ingeniería Química, Diseño Industrial, entre otras. + Dominio del idioma inglés avanzado + Experiencia laboral en áreas de Packaging dentro de industria de consumo masivo. + Dominio de SAP (deseable) **Horario laboral:** Esquema híbrido.
