Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a R&D Engineer Sr. to join their team. As a R&D Engineer Sr., you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** R&D Engineer Sr.
**Location:** Menlo Park, CA
**Pay Range: $50 - $55/hr**
**What's the Job?**
+ Support programs which result in innovative application of existing or new products or technologies.
+ Conduct experiments and develop strategies to enhance product development.
+ Review technical documents and publications while interfacing with suppliers and vendors.
+ Provide advice, assistance, and direction to project teams and management to assist with problem recognition, review, and resolution.
+ Write protocols, reports, and justifications to support project objectives.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering.
+ 5+ years of related work experience with a complete understanding of the specified functional area.
+ Advanced degree preferred.
+ Experience in researching, developing, designing, and evaluating mechanical materials and components.
+ Ability to conduct feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality.
