R&D Documentation Associate Scientist
Overview As an R&D Associate Scientist with PepsiCo, you will have unique opportunities to help build and maintain the documentation system that is critical for PepsiCo formulations. As we move to a state-of-the-art integrated documentation system, this role will ensure the accuracy of our documents as we migrate to the new PLM system. This role will also support beta testing and employee training for the new system. Responsibilities Review formulas as they route for approval, ensuring all fields are populated accurately and consistently. Understand embedded calculations in current FSS system. Apply and potentially simplify them as we migrate data to the new PLM system. Beta-test in PLM for accuracy and user friendliness. Train users on how to create and document new formulas in PLM system. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,700 - $118,400. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications Critical Competencies: The successful candidate will be experienced in the consumer goods industry and demonstrate the following skills: Ability to self-initiate and manage multiple project tasks independently to meet business objectives Ability to build relationships and work closely with internal partners and across functions Intellectual curiosity and ability to think critically & analytically Communication/Presentation Skills (verbal and written) Ability to provide thought leadership on tactical aspects of projects Time management skills Requirements: BS in Food Science or a related field Commuting distance from our Valhalla, NY office.
