What you can expect as a R&D Care Manager at LeadDesk
+ Lead and manage two R&D teams consisting of approximately fourteen professionals, requiring strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
+ One team focuses on care and maintenance of products, while the other team is responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) and releases.
+ The primary stakeholders for this role are internal client-facing teams but it also requires regular/weekly cooperation with external clients
+ The main responsibility is to prioritize and coordinate client demands effectively, ensuring that all deliverables are completed in the correct order and to a high standard of quality.
+ Oversee the delivery of team outputs, ensuring alignment with defined requirements, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
+ Provide regular updates on R&D progress, including weekly status reports and other communications as needed by leadership or stakeholders.
+ Process and tool development to ensure efficient deliveries now and in future

Must-haves
+ Strong sense of ownership over delivery, including accountability for meeting deadlines and managing product releases.
+ Customer facing experience
+ Proven leadership experience in Software Development or Quality Assurance, with a comprehensive understanding of modern development practices and methodologies.
+ Demonstrated experience in line management and people leadership, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
+ Ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt effectively to changing priorities. Ability to shift focus between multiple client needs, projects and people.
+ Proactive and collaborative leader with the ability to engage effectively across internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
+ Experience working in an international SaaS company, ideally serving enterprise customers across multiple markets.
+ Proven track record of managing distributed and hybrid teams across different locations with a mix of internal and external resources
+ Experience in leading or contributing to organizational change initiatives, including process or structural transformations
+ Experience in Customer Success Management (CSM) or similar customer-facing role.
+ Strong background in Quality Assurance (QA).

+ Your location: Helsinki / Lappeenranta.
+ Work permit in Finland
+ Start date: As soon as possible
+ Work model: Hybrid (3 days a week at the office)
+ Working hours: Flexible
+ Employment: Full-time and permanent
