R&D Assistant - Analytical Chemistry
Our client, in consumer goods industry, is seeking an **R&D Lab Assistant - Analytical Chemistry** join their team. The ideal candidate will have organizational, multi-task skills to display a degree of flexibility regarding changing task priorities which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: R&D Lab Assistant - Analytical Chemistry** **Location: Salt Lake City (fully onsite)** **Pay Range: $20 - $25 hourly** **1 Year Contract** **Full Time - 40 hours per week, M-F Day Shift** **What’s the Job?** + Perform validation and stability testing to support method qualification, product development, and compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements. + Manage SDS files, chemical inventory, laboratory supply order, and hazardous waste disposal. + Maintain laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice standards. + Maintaining, monitoring, and calibrating laboratory equipment in a ready and compliant state. + Assist with routine tests utilizing various analytical techniques. **What’s Needed?** + **BS/BA in Sciences, Chemistry or Material Sciences is preferred or similar** + **Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in an R&D analytical laboratory setting. Pharm experience is a big plus.** + Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
