Job Summary： 
Trane in Abu Dhabi is hiring for a Controls Quotation Engineer to join our team. Responsible to assist the Controls Team in Order Acquisition and for customer satisfaction and profitability for each contract and targeted Annual Sales Volume.

Responsibilities: 
Essential functions and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned.

•    Works with CONTROLS Sales Team to properly estimate, design and quote for projects.
•    Co-ordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
•    Monitors project results against technical specifications and project estimate.
•    Develops and maintains technical and project documentation.
•    Assume responsibility of demand adequacy.
•    Ensures the quality of proposals and reports any anomalies or improvement suggestions to the Account Manager.
•    Log, establish and control customers’ proposals, with appropriate tools provided.
•    Collect, analyze and keep track of customers’ information and technical literature.
•    Prepare a file of orders and lists of I/O.
•    Obtain from Finance & Controlling department information about customers’ credit.
•    Prepare necessary documents and information for Hand-over to Fulfilment.
•    Suggest solutions to improve quality, results and efficiency of given tasks.
•    Suggest possible adaptation of means to implement to reach targeted objectives.
•    Initiates and completes technical submittals that will involve control schematics for installation etc., proposes change orders / requests for information, subcontract and contract issues.

Qualifications:
•    Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
•    Knowledge of AutoCAD, Office 365 and selection tools. 
•    A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar role.
•    Valid UAE Driving License.
•    Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
•    Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
•    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
•    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
