This is a 1LoD enablement function, supporting the enterprise in compliance with 2LoD requirements. Quantitative Assets include models and End User Computing tools (EUCs). This senior teammate will partner cross- functionally to drive effective, efficient, and proactive compliance with Truist’s risk management requirements, including identification of Quantitative Assets and the ongoing risk management of those assets. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Drive execution of key processes associated with quantitative asset management, including quantitative asset identification, controls execution and testing, monitoring, and reporting. 2. Advise and educate cross-functional Business Unit partners on quantitative assets and effective, efficient, and proactive compliance with the Truist model and EUC risk management requirements. 3. Monitor and report on KPIs to support proactive risk management of Quantitative Assets. Agree on actions with relevant stakeholders to resolve gaps or inconsistencies. 4. Identify efficiency and other enhancement opportunities with the framework, process, and application for the coverage area, designing and working with key stakeholders to implement. 5. Serve as primary point of contact to 1LoD, 2LoD, and 3LoD partners. Support regulatory examinations and address respective requests. 6. Manage teammates to ensure timely execution of processes. Identify, recruit, and maintain teammate talent. 7. Serve as the delegate for the Head of Quantitative Asset Management on regulatory and internal reviews, on management and committee reporting and escalations, as well as interface with senior leaders across the enterprise to ensure smooth stakeholder engagement and execution. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or other business or risk management related areas, or equivalent education and related training. 2. Eight+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and financial industry experience in model and /or EUC risk management, including governance, framework, and controls design and testing, etc. 3. Experience leading governance forums, compiling and presenting senior-leader and regulatory updates, interfacing with regulators, audit, and other assurance functions. 4. Strong understanding and experience with core model risk management guidance such as SR 11-7, SR 15-18/19. 5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfort with public speaking, senior leadership presentations, and ability to distill complex concepts into actionable next steps. Ability to manage competing organizational priorities effectively. 6. Demonstrated ability to design and implement a framework, process, or control improvement. 7. Strong work ethic & problem-solving skills **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Master's degree. 2. Relevant professional designation(s) – eg FRM, CFA, CPA. 3. Experience across large financial institutions and consulting firms a plus. 4. Knowledge/experience of best practices and current regulatory environment and associated expectations within the financial services industry. The annual base salary for this position is $115,000 - $200,000. **General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation:** All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
