As a Quant Modeling Senior Associate within the AWM MIS organization, you will be responsible for implementing various financial forecasting models, developing modernized Planning and Analysis (P&A) processes/tools, and creating AI applications to support the organization's needs. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and gain high visibility by directly supporting exercises such as CCAR, CECL, Budget Planning and business-as-usual forecasting.
Job responsibilities:
Implement statistical financial forecasting models to support business needs, including stress testing and business-as-usual exercises.Transform and modernize existing Forecasting, Planning and Analysis processes using Python and other relevant technologies, such as DataBricks, AWS.Develop Machine Learning and AI solutions aiming to lift efficiency of the broader team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into automated solutions.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
3+ years of experience in analytical roles; at least one year of experience in developing or implementing forecasting models.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Full-stack experience of developing applications from backend to frontend.
Hands-on skills of using React, Next.js, Github, Jira.
Direct work experience with machine learning model development.
Experience with developing customized AI applications, such as prompt engineering, Langchain.
