As a Vice President Quant Analytics in Data Analytics – Legal Regulatory & Controls Operations team, you will lead a team to extract business value from data, develop innovative analytics solutions, and partner with stakeholders to deliver insights that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction

Job responsibilities

Lead partnerships with Operations stakeholders and Product groups to understand business drivers and data processesBuild business cases, design tests, and analyze pilot program performance to inform customer strategiesAnalyze customer interactions across channels to identify friction points and improve journeysDevelop and report on operational performance metrics and KPIs using advanced analytical toolsCreate self-serve tools to provide real-time information to decision-makersMentor and coach team members, driving consistent high performance

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field and twelve years of applied data analytics experienceHands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityStrong database skills and ability to write, optimize, and tune complex SQL scriptsProficient in at least four data analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, AlteryxDemonstrated ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholdersExperience in wrangling large, complex datasets and automating data processesProven track record in delivering analytics solutions under strict timelines

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in financial services or consulting supporting financial firmsFamiliarity with big data disciplines and cloud technologiesExposure to Agile methodologies such as scrumGrowth mindset and commitment to continuous learning
