As a Quant Analyst on the Commerce Enablement Controls Analytics team, you will work closely with Product Owners and leads to deliver insights in terms of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. You will strive to build consensus with Product Owners on if, where, when, how, and whom to drive customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports.
Job responsibilities
Collaborate to understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutionsSynthesize data from a number of different sources to identify meaningful trends and patternsSupport creating data points using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancyAssist in rationalizing complex normalized data sets allowing for ease of cross org consumptionWork directly with business partners across multiple functional organizations to evaluate needs, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions aligned with business objectives.Translate data into meaningful insights and present a compelling story to stakeholders for decision makingLeverage expertise in in the production, optimization and automation of recurrent reports
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx or TableauExperience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle or SQL DBsAdept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertiseIntellectually curious and eager to learn new things with an eye for innovationAble to demonstrate initiative by completing projects and tasks independentlyHighly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasksGood written and oral communication skills Operational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platforms

Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of analytics or business experienceFunctional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or financeSQL skills with the ability to pull data in an enterprise-scale database environment Experience with business intelligence and data wrangling tools such as SAS EG, SAS Viya, Python, Snowflake and AlteryxExperience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation Basic skills with JIRA, ConfluenceProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
