Job Description
Under general supervision, the Quality Technician performs a variety of product inspections within production runs. They assist production personnel with technical questions, inspection equipment, quality control processes, blueprint reading, and written instructions. The technician serves as an inspector in all areas of production.
ResponsibilitiesComplete in-process and set-up inspections throughout production as needed.Utilize basic inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to perform inspections.Perform basic math functions to facilitate inspection.Generate Non-Conformance notifications and communicate appropriately.Continuously expand knowledge of parts, inspection methods, production processes, and other relevant information affecting the production of quality products.Enter inventory of patterns into the system as needed.Adhere to the employee safety manual, quality assurance mission statement, and department work standards.Create permanent and temporary patterns as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gages.Ability to perform quality checks and inspections using blueprints and visual inspection methods.Basic mathematical skills for inspection purposes.Graduation from high school or equivalent.Experience with sheet metal.Proficiency with micrometers and calipers.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

-20% shift differential on 2nd shift and 33% for weekend shift (1st shift - 12 hour days)
