Quality Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our comprehensive, enterprise-wide Quality Management System. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform sample inspections and measurements of incoming parts.Process non-conforming materials for testing or disposition.Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliers.Complete internal audits and associated documentation.Interpret engineering prints and schematics.Support safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD, and ISO.Assist in the Material Review Board process.Maintain information systems.Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.Review, analyze, and report on quality discrepancies.Essential Skills
A two-year technical degree is required; a four-year technical degree is preferredJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
