**Job Title: Quality Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, gages, and indicators. Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is an added advantage, though not essential. This role supports our production team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct first piece inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Utilize micrometers, calipers, gages, and indicators to perform quality checks.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to maintain high-quality assurance.
+ Work closely with the production team to address any quality issues promptly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Ability to use digital micrometers and calipers effectively.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean shop built in 2019, featuring multiple cafes and a workout room. The work schedule includes 40-56 hours per week, with first shift hours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and second shift hours starting at 5:30 PM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
