Quality Technician
Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description

The Quality Technician role is primarily focused on ensuring quality on the production floor through thorough quality checks and maintaining proper documentation. This position involves minimal lab work, limited to preparing samples for third-party testing. The role requires accurate interpretation and adherence to reference documents such as specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The technician must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), and effectively communicate quality-related information both verbally and in writing.

ResponsibilitiesPerform quality checks on the production floor.Ensure adherence to quality processes and maintain documentation.Prepare samples for third-party testing.Interpret and follow reference documentation, including specifications and SOPs.Comply with GMPs and GLPs.Communicate quality-related information effectively.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in quality control or quality assurance.Ability to perform quality inspections and checks.Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.Excellent communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsQuality Control Experience.Associates degree in the sciences is a plus.Interest in manufacturing and quality settings with potential for upward mobility.Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday. The work environment is a clean manufacturing facility with several production lines. The candidate will be required to walk around and pull samples from various lines. The company fosters a positive environment with a strong culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
