Quality Technician
Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description

In this role, you will work with tight tolerance parts and be responsible for programming and editing the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs. You will support the measurements of the inspection process and be involved in in-process audits. The Quality Technician will complete measurements and inspections of products both in-process and at final stages. Additionally, you will provide support for the certified Quality Management System (QMS) as needed, helping to assure consistent quality of production by validating processes and providing documentation.

ResponsibilitiesProgram and edit CMM programs.Conduct measurements and inspections of products during in-process and final stages.Support the Quality Management System and participate in in-process audits.Validate production processes to assure consistent quality.Provide necessary documentation to support quality assurance.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience with CMMs.Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers for measurements.Experience with tight tolerance parts in aerospace, automotive, or medical industries.Knowledge of inspection techniques, including GD&T, blueprint reading, and quality control.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with PCDMIS or CALYPSO is beneficial.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Work Environment

You will work in a climate-controlled environment alongside a team consisting of a quality specialist and a quality engineer. The facility operates Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional half-days based on production needs. The facility is open from 6 am to 2:30 pm, providing the opportunity for a flexible schedule if required. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
