Actively Seeking a Quality Technician Coordinator to join chemical manufacturing client in Griffin, GA!

Description

Position summary:

Conducts routine and non-routine chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Updates and maintains analysis spreadsheets for raw materials, intermediate, and finished products.

Tasks:

•\tConducts routine and non-routine analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

•\tCollects, analyzes, and interprets data related to quality, identifying trends, and reporting findings to the Quality Manager.

•\tCreates and maintains Quality Control Analysis procedures.

•\tMaintains laboratory equipment and laboratory supplies.

•\tAssists Quality Manager with ISO and Environmental related activities.

•\tAdheres to all safety procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment.

•\tUpholds the safety and quality standard of the Company.

•\tOther duties assigned by management.

•\tStrong attention to detail: A critical skill for identifying deviations from quality standards.

•\tAnalytical and problem-solving skills: Essential for analyzing data, identifying root causes of issues, and developing solutions.

•\tCommunication and interpersonal skills: Needed for effective collaboration, training, and reporting.

•\tProficiency in data analysis and reporting: Essential for tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement.

•\tOrganizational and time management skills: Important for managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Physical Requirements:

•\tMust be able to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently

•\tMust be able to stand for long periods of time (>3 hrs continuously.)

•\tMust be able to walk frequently.

•\tMust be able to bend, reach, squat, stoop, and kneel to floor level frequently.

Education and Experience

•\tBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent of 4+ years’ work experience in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Role.

•\tPrevious Lab experience preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Griffin, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
