Our client, a precision metal fabrication and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Technician I to join their team. As a Quality Technician I, you will be part of the Quality Department, supporting production, engineering, and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, sound analytical skills, and excellent communication, which will help them thrive in this environment.
**Job Title** : Quality Technician I (1st and 2nd shifts available)
**Location** : Dresser, WI
**Pay Range** : $18 - $23/hr
**What’s the Job?**
+ Release product for shipment by ensuring all required documentation and certifications meet customer specifications
+ Interpret and apply basic GD&T concepts for inspections
+ Perform dimensional verification on PPAP and first‑article parts
+ Provide on‑floor support, including documentation clarification and training on proper measurement techniques
+ Program and operate FARO and Micro‑Vu measurement equipment; collect and present quality metric data
**What’s Needed?**
+ 1+ years of inspection experience in a metal fabrication or continuous improvement QMS environment
+ Ability to read and interpret instructions, drawings, and basic correspondence; capable of presenting information to small groups
+ Strong math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, ratios, and interpreting graphs
+ Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email, internet)
+ Certification as a Quality Technician preferred; experience programming FARO/Micro‑Vu is a plus
