Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Technician to assist in producing high-quality aerospace-related hardware. This role requires a strong technical skill set combined with solid soft skills and will be located on-site at a manufacturing facility.

ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections according to mechanical drawings and/or IPC specifications.Document material flow through MRB (non-conformance) and IQC (incoming quality control).Maintain dashboard presentations.Identify and document defects, and communicate issues with production and quality teams.Create and maintain rework instructions.Study, understand, and teach product quality standards to production line assembly operators.Provide mechanical measurement support to identify potential supplier, design, or manufacturing issues.Perform incoming material inspection on mechanical components and possibly PBCAs.Essential SkillsIPC-A-610 certification preferred (valid or expired).Ability to read schematics and interpret circuit diagrams.Understanding of basic electronic components such as resistors and capacitors.Experience with PCB inspection, quality control, and using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Proficient computer experience and microscope usage.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience using quality measurement tools (gauges, calipers, scales, OMM, etc.).Experience with cosmetic inspection.Strong communication skills within and outside of the direct team.Experience with consumer electronic manufacturing processes.Knowledge of spreadsheets and Google Slides.Incredible attention to detail.Quality champion mindset.Why Work Here?

This position is located at a manufacturing facility, requiring on-site presence with no remote work option. The team combines expertise in artificial intelligence, hardware, and software product development, striving for operational excellence. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
