Quality Technician
**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances. Analyze inspection data and prepare reports detailing findings, trends, and recommendations for corrective actions. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements in processes. Maintain documentation related to quality systems, including inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports. Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to quality management standards. Support the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols in line with ISO standards. **Responsibilities** + Conduct quality inspections on materials and products. + Use precision measuring instruments to assess dimensions and tolerances. + Analyze and report inspection data, trends, and recommendations. + Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues. + Maintain quality system documentation. + Participate in internal audits. + Support the development of quality assurance protocols. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of experience in a quality technician role. + Experience in weld inspection preferred. + Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T. + Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages). + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Effective communication skills. + High school diploma or GED required. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + AWS Certification preferred. + Trade school or vocational training is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a team-oriented, innovative company that offers ample opportunities for growth and values forward-thinking. **Work Environment** Work hours are from 5am to 3:30pm, with an early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays. Must be open to working 48-55 hours a week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Streetsboro, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
