**Department: Quality Technician** **Pay Grade: Salaried Non-Exempt Pay Rate: $25.00-$29.00** **Reports to: Quality Manager** + Quality Technician needs to read and understand all customer standardized test method documents. + Perform physical property testing within corporate polyurethane quality lab according to the customer standardized documents. + Maintain, control, and ensure accuracy of test data. + Monitor and ensure testing is performed within Temperature and Humidity control. + Update testing matrix daily to note completed testing. + Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the lab area daily. + Maintain sample and test fixture inventories. + Follow all lab safety practices. + Participate in ISO 16949 system improvement activities, including but not limited to audits and Proficiency Testing. + Participate in Gage R & R studies on lab equipment. + Participate in equipment verification. + Participate in Quality Planning meetings when required. + Be a self starter; to complete all work orders in a timely manner. + Abide by all EH&S requirements. Comply with company and departmental rules, policies and practices. + Communicate with team members and supervision on all issues, concerns, updates, etc. + Perform all roles & responsibilities as defined by the BOS policies & procedures. + Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Quality Engineer/Manager or UTC Manager **Quality Technician Required Experience** + Minimum 1 Year of Quality in Manufacturing.
