You efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with supervisor. This role requires you to apply your organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
How you will contribute
You will be responsible for all scientific administrative tasks including lab administration, housekeeping activities and working in accordance with laboratory-set quality standards. Because you will liaise with internal stakeholders, you will always demonstrate high quality customer service, by ensuring that work is done on time, that the analytical data generated is reliability, and that the results are accurate and provided in a timely manner. You will also assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation to ensure that only the most current versions are supplied to analysts. This role will require you to work at the highest standards of safety and quality, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and completing assigned quality actions in a timely manner.

What you need to know about this position: You efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with supervisor. This role requires you to apply your organizational skills to meet tight deadlines. You must also review and approve records in a timely fashion, handle water and swab samples, and inspect equipment for cleanliness.
Education / Certifications: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
Job specific requirements:
Computer Skills required (Microsoft Office, SAP).Food Manufacturing experience (preferred) Lean Six Sigma experience (preferred) Experience in Quality Systems management in Food Industry (i.e. HACCP, FSSC, ISO) (Preferred)Work schedule:
Working on 2nd to 3rd shift.
2nd Shift – 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM
3rd Shift - 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM
Base salary range: $55,000 to $60,000 USD
