**Job Title: Quality Technician**
Job Description

The Mid-Shift Quality Technician is a great opportunity that plays a crucial role in ensuring that production parts meet specifications by actively participating in all inspection activities. This role operates on a shift schedule from 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
+ Aid in resolving non-compliant processes.
+ Setup new gauges in the Gauge database.
+ Monitor the Gauge database for calibration due dates, perform scheduled in-house calibrations, and arrange outsourced calibrations.
+ Conduct gauge R&R studies.
+ Assemble and enter data collected during capability studies.
+ Maintain part history logs.
+ Conduct daily floor audits of processes and products.
+ Perform Dock Audits of processes and products.
+ Inspect incoming product for compliance.
+ Maintain and distribute Operator work instructions.
+ Collect RED tags daily and input data.
+ Assist in PPAP completion.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ At least 6 months of employment with the company.
+ Timeliness and dependability with no attendance issues, must have less than 3 points.
+ Plex aptitude or computer literacy.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience using Excel and Outlook.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Good problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
+ Understanding and use of restricted access folder Controlled Sensitive Material.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficient in problem solving and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
+ Experience in quality inspection, blueprint reading, CMM, GD&T, and aerospace.
+ Proficient in Excel data entry and Outlook.
+ Familiarity with tape measure, mics, and cals.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
