Quality Technician
**Job Title: Quality Technician** Job Description Join a dynamic team in a precast concrete manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for testing and inspecting materials, products, and processes at various stages of production. This weekend shift position requires basic computer skills and the ability to work in a diverse and demanding environment. Responsibilities + Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all published and posted safety policies. + Perform all aspects of the pre-manufacture inspection process during and after production to ensure quality requirements are met. + Accurately enter production and quality data into the computer system. + Identify and report any quality problems to Production or Quality Management. + Seek opportunities to improve materials, processes, and products. + Ensure cleanliness of the lab, testing areas, and equipment. + Lead by example, demonstrating core values such as honesty, integrity, work ethic, and respect for others. + Treat production and yard teams as customers when performing timely inspections on products and processes. + Work as a team player. Essential Skills + Experience in construction, landscape, labor, concrete, and general labor. + Ability to operate a forklift. + Strong work ethic and integrity. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as climbing onto and off trailers, getting up and down from catwalks and beds, and lifting up to 65 lbs. Benefits start after 30 days, and after 90 days in the union, you'll receive $5/hour towards your pension. Work Environment Work in an industrial concrete manufacturing setting with harsh conditions, including exposure to outdoor elements such as cold, rain, and snow. Be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions while maintaining safety and quality standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savage, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.22 - $24.22/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
