**Seeking a Quality Technician in St. Paul** **Contracted Role $30-35/hr for a Medical Device Company** **Job Description** The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting final inspections or non-conforming inspections of products. This role involves collaboration with engineers to define and resolve technical issues associated with produced products. Additionally, the role supports all aspects of the organization and may support or lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the compliance of systems or processes. **Responsibilities** + Perform inspection of non-conforming parts, components, assemblies, or devices to determine conformity with technical requirements. + Document part inspection results into electronic database systems and QMS systems. + Maintain competence in inspection techniques and equipment. + Serve as a technical resource to peers and assist in establishing standards of work within the group. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in medical or mechanical inspection. + Experience with inspecting non-conformances and disposition of components. + Proficiency in documenting findings by hand and in QMS/ERP systems. + Familiarity with hand tools, gauges, fixtures, calipers, and micrometers. **Why Work Here?** Join a medium to large-sized company where every role impacts the organization and its customers.
