**Job Title: Quality Technician - 3rd Shift - Up to $22/hr!** **Job Description** As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining the quality of all products produced at the site. You will collaborate with management and production teams to meet testing and quality needs and run samples from extruders and molders. Your responsibilities will include analyzing colors with a spectrophotometer, recognizing non-conforming products, and utilizing Windows 7, Office, and Word/Excel for data entry and analysis. A fundamental understanding of English and metric systems, basic algebra concepts, percentages, and calculations is essential. **Responsibilities** + Monitor and maintain product quality at the site. + Collaborate with management and production for testing and quality needs. + Run samples from extruders and molders. + Analyze colors using a spectrophotometer. + Identify and manage non-conforming products. + Utilize Windows 7, Office, and Word/Excel for data management. + Learn and understand product lines. + Maintain lab cleanliness. + Enter data from online and offline testing. **Essential Skills** + Quality testing experience (2+ years). + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. + High school diploma or GED required. + Experience in quality control, inspection, and assurance. + Experience in a lab setting preferred. + Worked with color lab testing. + Experience in a quality lab within a manufacturing setting. + Plastics or resins compounding experience. **Why Work Here?** This is a temp-to-hire role in a stable company that has not experienced major layoffs. Steel-toe PPE is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Unity, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
