While taking ownership in your area of work, you’ll also ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues while producing our top-quality products reliably and efficiently within our integrated supply chain. **How you will contribute** + Support quality program including but not limited to Internal Auditing, GMPs, Hold and Release, Pre-startup inspections, Traceability, Material Verification, Document Control, HACCP, Product Commercialization, Corrective and Preventive Actions. + Actively engage in auditing control program to ensure compliance to all procedures and policies, GMP standards, Mondelez requirements, and regulatory, federal, and local laws. + Maintain quality related instruments throughout the plant + Pathogen Environmental Program sample collectionWater testing program sample collection + Co-maintenance of Retention Samples Program. + Participate in Raw/Pack supplier non-conformance process + Perform documentation review to ensure compliance to food safety and quality programs + Perform foreign substance / HACCP deviation investigation along with operations team. + Perform incoming ingredient review and release + Responsible for calibrating and tracking lab equipment as well as handle any follow-ups on corrective actions required. + Provide support for customer compliant investigations and tracking. + Support Hold/Release documentation and dispositioning of products. + Responsible for maintaining, validation, and continuous improvement of all laboratory testing and equipment. + Manage glass and brittle plastic program. + Provide operations team support on IQS usage + Provide Food Safety, Quality and Compliance training other employees + Support and follow proper plant safety policies and procedures. + Additional Quality and Sanitation duties as assigned to meet business needs. + Work in partnership with Operations to guarantee and improve the best quality results at the production lines **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Experience in Quality Systems management (i.e. QCMS, HACCP, FSSC, ISO) + Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, IQS) + Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly based on business needs. + Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction. + Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills to act as a liaison. + Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal direction + Possess problem solving skills + Ability to prioritize work and meet required deadlines + Ability to work with a team to meet goals. **More about this role** **Education / Certifications:** + High School Diploma (required) + Sciences background (preferred) + Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field. + Certified Quality Engineer preferred + HACCP certification preferred + GFSI audit certification preferred **Job specific requirements:** + 3yrs Manufacturing experience (required) + Food Manufacturing experience (preferred) + Lean Six Sigma experience (preferred) **Travel requirements:** + No, it's 100% onsite. **Work schedule:** + Flexibility to work on any shift (afternoon/midnight/weekends) is required + 1st Shift – 7 AM to 3 PM + 2nd Shift – 3 PM to 11 PM **Salary and benefits:** + The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,900 to $75,900; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
