Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description

The Quality Technician will serve as the right hand to the Quality Engineer, responsible for performing quality inspections on Tetris switch gear units. The role requires proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, and involves moving between different cells within the manufacturing facility.

ResponsibilitiesConduct quality inspections on Tetris switch gear units.Utilize computer applications such as Excel and PowerPoint for data entry and other tasks.Take pictures of products and upload them to the company system.Recognize discrepancies through photo evidence.Edit and update check sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Monitor, respond to, and escalate quality issues.Enter material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails.Assist with audits as needed.Work alongside the production team, including some Saturdays.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.Experience in manufacturing quality, inspection gauges, quality assurance, and quality control.Mechanical inspection experience, particularly in precision machine or sheet metal manufacturing environments.Ability to use inspection tools such as pin gauges and thread gauges.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of quality control processes on mechanical equipment and CNC machines.Comfortable moving between different work cells.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work is conducted in an extremely temperature-controlled manufacturing facility with the potential to expand into a 3 million sqft campus. Composite shoes are required as part of the dress code.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
