Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

The Quality Technician ensures the highest standards of quality for our machinery. This role involves inspecting incoming outsourced products, in-process assemblies, machining operations, and final inspections. The Quality Technician will utilize various measurement tools, read blueprints, understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and work within our ERP system to create 'go, no go' reports.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately interpret and analyze engineering blueprints and technical drawings.Apply knowledge of GD&T to ensure parts meet specified tolerances.Utilize a variety of measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, surface roughness testers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, Faro Arm or similar tool.Efficiently work within the company's ERP system to track and document quality inspections and reports.Conduct thorough inspections of incoming outsourced products from vendors, in-process assemblies during manufacturing, machining operations, and final product inspections before shipment.Create detailed 'go, no go' reports based on inspection results and communicate findings to relevant departments.Ensure all products meet high standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.Essential Skills - MUST HAVE5 or more years of experience in a Quality Technician role, preferably in packaging or machine shop environments.Experience in reading blueprints and GD&T.Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and others.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
