Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician responsible for ensuring all products meet customer requirements and quality standards within the plant. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using precision measuring tools and familiar with maintaining ISO standards.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality standards are met in the plant.Verify that products meet customer requirements.Follow ISO and ISO 9001 standards.Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges, ensuring they are calibrated correctly.Utilize Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Operate a tracking system called Gauge Tracks.Create corrective actions for non-compliant products and ensure follow-through.Interact with customers as needed to address quality concerns.Essential SkillsAt least 5 years of quality technician experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience with ISO Standards (ISO and ISO 9001).Knowledgeable in APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA.Experience in calibrating and using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and gauge control systems such as Gauge Tracks.Experience in creating and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions.Additional Skills & QualificationsAutomotive experience is a plus.ASQ Certification is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position operates primarily on the floor with some office work involved. The preferred schedule is a flexible day shift, typically 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm, Monday to Friday. While the environment is structured, there is flexibility for urgent situations. Employees enjoy paid lunches and breaks, with no need to clock in or out.

This is a Permanent position based out of Findlay, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $78500.00 - $117000.00/yr.
- Company does not work a lot of overtime (40-45 hours usually -- not like automotive).
- No time clock system, its all an honor system -- no attendance policy -- they trust their employees
-family atmosphere if someone needs to take care of something at home they are understanding -- won't get \"points\" for showing up a minute or two late
- Company offers a PIP monthly bonus based on sales, quality, performance, overtime, and more. Bonus on average is 20-30% of wage and is paid mothly (have been up to 40% this year)
-they have 24 days in a month - Pay is a salary but hourly wage is computed based on 86.76 hours worked every two weeks. They get that pay even if they work less than that. Very rarely do they work more than that in a 2 week period. -- 2 pays/month - paid around the 7th and 22nd
-get paid for lunch and breaks do not have to clock in/out
-they are owned by toyota so large company backing but family feel at local site
-PTO is typically 120 hours/year plus 5 personal days (will be prorated if higher in the middle of the year)
-Benefits start 1st of the month after they start
