**Job Title:** Supplier Quality Specialist IV
**Location:** Edmonton, AB
Our client is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist IV to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Specialist IV, you will be part of the procurement and supply chain department supporting quality management and supplier assessments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Description:**
+ Conduct quality assessments on supplier quality management systems to ensure compliance with company standards.
+ Support evaluation of suppliers to verify the establishment and implementation of quality management systems, infrastructure, training, and procedures.
+ Engage with suppliers to facilitate timely quality management assessments and compile assessment documentation.
+ Provide assessment gap reports to internal stakeholders when necessary.
+ Manage audit plans, coordinate between technical audit teams and suppliers, and oversee opening and closing meetings.
**Qualifications:**
+ ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent experience.
+ Experience with Quality Management Systems in the oil and gas industry.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle software.
+ Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an understanding of relevant codes and standards such as ASME, CSA, API, and ISO.
