You independently operate and maintain at leas one process or equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.
How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. You will operate and maintains equipment to meet our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will execute all standard work processes using AM and PM (progressive maintenance standards). In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.

You lead the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and report results to the Process Quality Lead.
How you will contribute
You will support elements of the site’s quality system, including internal documentation and change management control including quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation, internal audits, effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management and management review.

More about this role
The position will be responsible for administering quality protocols and processes on their assigned shifts. This role will support the daily operations team ensuring conformance to corporate and local Quality Policies and SOPs and proactively address risks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for daily oversight of all food safety and quality activities of the production areas including HACCP, GMP, Specification Compliance, SOP Compliance, etc
Work closely with the Senior Quality Specialist, compliance coordinator and production colleagues to implement Lean Six Sigma tools to continuously improve Product Quality, drive down defects, complaints and improve scrap waste.
Maintain, review and file Quality and Food Safety paperwork on daily basis in accordance with company guidelines.
Support the Senior Quality Specialist in Investigating consumer complaints and trends.
Facilitate quality discussions and responsible for training activities in conjunction with the Compliance coordinator.
Manage hold/release and non-conformance procedure for finished product or raw/pack materials.
Manage Quality incidents from the investigation, remediation and follow up with the closure of corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in project teams for new equipment and infrastructure, working with Safety, Quality, and other departments.
Actively contribute to the implementation of IL6S tools and systems in correction of issues using Root Cause Analysis tools to eliminate losses.
Prepare for and participate in internal and external quality audits in conjunction with the Process Quality Lead and Compliance Manager.
Job specific requirements:
SAP user skills an asset, Quality software systems, & MS office.
Strong understanding of plant Quality Programs, including HACCP, GMPs, Metal Detection, Calibration, CoA's, Specifications, documentation control.
Experience in GFSI Standards (FSSC, etc).
Adaptable - must handle multiple situations at one time and be able to prioritize for maximum efficiency.
Communicates effectively with all positions orally and written in a professional manner
Must be able to effectively analyze issues / problems and develop solutions.
Demonstrates initiative & perform duties without direct supervision.
Highly skilled at planning and prioritizing tasks
Ability to successfully collaborate across different teams and stakeholders.
Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast paced high performance work system.
Exhibit learning agility and display potential to grow in the organization by taking up diverse and challenging assignments.
2-5 years’ experience in a related field
Bachelor’s degree Food science, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent years of related experience in a GMP manufacturing.
