Find your future with us. **Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is seeking a **Quality Production Specialist (Level 3)** to support **Boeing Commercial Aircraft** based out of **North Charleston, South Carolina** on **1st shift.** The BCA Quality team plays a vital role in ensuring parts and assemblies meet type design, specifications, and engineering standards for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. By performing quality inspections, auditing, and collaborating closely with internal teams, this team helps deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality Boeing 787 aircraft. Join us to be part of a close-knit team where your expertise and attention to detail directly impact the quality and success of our products! **Position Responsibilities:** + Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements + Oversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processes. Guides the review of production plans. + Applies advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. + Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance. Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field. + Establishes process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives. + Oversees the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System. + Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion. + Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes. + Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminated. + Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity. + Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal /external distribution. + Project Manages quality initiatives to support 787 production improvements + Works under general supervision. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications + 3+ years of experience in a role that required you to analyze and summarize raw data from various sources, and recommend executable action plans + 3+ years of experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets) + 2+ years of experience working with Velocity + 2+ Years Production Experience **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor’s Degree or higher + Experience working with CMES + Experience with managing quality improvement projects + Experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment + Boeing 787 Program Experience + 3+ years of experience working on MRB (Materials Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures + Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience **Conflict of Interest:** Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Shift:** This position is on 1st shift. **Total Rewards:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain the top talent.
