We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to work on-site at a supplier facility, focused on maximizing the throughput of a new product. The role involves collaborating closely with the supplier to understand and resolve issues in real time, optimizing the flow of products through test, repair, and debug areas, and addressing any incoming quality issues.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with suppliers to understand and resolve production issues in real-time.Optimize product flow through test, repair, and debug areas.Address and resolve incoming quality issues efficiently.Conduct root cause analysis to improve manufacturing processes.Track material flow and identify areas of waste for optimization.Utilize data analysis tools to assess production timelines and performance.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or a related field.5 years of experience in engineering and/or quality roles.Proficiency in quality engineering and root cause analysis.Understanding of manufacturing and process engineering.Basic data analysis skills with Excel proficiency.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in electronics manufacturing.Proficiency in SQL is a plus.Experience with consumer electronics or similar products.3-5 years of experience working in a factory setting, especially with electronics.Work EnvironmentThis role is based on-site at a supplier facility, working closely with the team to ensure quality and production efficiency. The position requires hands-on involvement in the manufacturing process and troubleshooting in real-time.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
