Quality Manager
Responsible for all Quality department staff.
· Develop, implement, communicate and monitor procedures to assure that all products meet customer specifications including incoming materials, pass-through products, and those shipped directly from CAPCO to the customer.
· Maintain detailed and accurate records of operations quality performance.
· Manage the implementation and maintenance of CAPCO’s quality certification efforts.
· Manage all facets of quality assurance with regard to new products or production process changes (PPAP, FMEA, etc.,).
· Follow up with suppliers regarding any non-conformance issue that is directly attributable to their products or materials.
· Coordinate quality assurance activity with the parent company assuring their understanding of CAPCO’s needs and performance.
· Authorize rejections and approvals of all incoming and outgoing products keeping in mind that CAPCO products are critical components of the automobile’s passenger safety systems.
· Investigate all claims thoroughly to assure that the root cause of customer concerns are legitimately directed at CAPCO.
· Serve as the primary voice with regard to quality related issues to the customers, suppliers, and parent company.
· Examine all new product prints and specifications for critical quality features assuring CAPCO’s capacity to produce to expectation.
· Identify all necessary measurement equipment needed and prepare necessary purchase orders for acquiring them in a timely and cost effective manner.
· Set standards, targets and procedures for continuous improvement efforts involving all employees (PPM, PRR)

Direct Hire position$70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)
Other duties will include:
· Frequent travel to customer locations, suppliers, potential customers & suppliers, and parent company locations as required.
· Lending expertise, counsel and leadership to other functional areas as required or directed.
Quality Manager Qualifications:
Skills & Educational Requirements:
· Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field preferred or the equivalent in related experience.
· 5-10 years previous experience in a quality leadership role in with an automotive supplier.
