Job Title: Quality ManagerJob Description We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance efforts and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Reporting to the President, this role oversees the company’s Quality Management System, manages audits, and drives quality initiatives across departments. Responsibilities include maintaining quality documentation, developing testing and inspection procedures, and ensuring product quality from raw materials to finished goods. Responsibilities + Oversee quality checks before products leave the facility and inspect incoming products from customers. + Coordinate quality activities and participate as part of the senior staff. + Conduct and manage ISO 9001:2015 audits. + Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) monthly and address non-conformances. + Manage scrap numbers and work closely with the molding department to minimize scrap during production startup. + Supervise a team of 4 direct reports, including 3 quality techs on the first shift and 1 quality tech on the second shift. Essential Skills + Experience with ISO audits and ISO 9001 standards. + Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to address non-conforming products and implement corrective actions. + Experience in coordinating quality activities and leading a team. + Familiarity with plastic injection molding processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in a related industrial, scientific, or business field. + 5–8 years of related experience in manufacturing and production with an emphasis on Quality Management Systems. + Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills to review systems and propose solutions. + Strong interpersonal, leadership, management, and communication skills. + Professional certifications and experience with ERP systems are a plus.
