**Job Title: Quality Manager** **Job Description**
As a Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the steel processing machinery operations, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining safety standards. You will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating machines, as well as reading blueprints. This position offers training and benefits in a manufacturing setting, with opportunities in both production and warehousing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, changeover, and operate press machines for cutting and leveling steel.
+ Read blueprints, interpret instructions, and use measuring devices to ensure specifications are met.
+ Adhere to workplace safety rules and guidelines.
+ Use equipment like forklifts (if trained) to move materials.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in machine operation and maintenance.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring devices.
+ Knowledge of safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
+ Experience in general production and packaging.

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a manufacturing and warehouse setting, working with a small team of maintenance technicians and a supervisor. Openings are available for the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm and the 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 11:30pm. The dress code requires jeans or work pants and steel-toed boots. The facility manufactures sheet metal and ships it to the Ford plant in North Kansas City.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
