As a Quality Manager, you will manage and execute all quality-related activities. This includes authoring and generating standard operating procedures (SOPs), overseeing weld inspections, and handling certified material test reports (CMTRs). The role requires someone with experience in manufacturing environments, particularly with fabrication processes, and who is comfortable with compliance-driven quality programs. You will be responsible for creating custom SOPs for unique customer requirements and guiding the team through quality processes.

Essential SkillsMinimum of three years of experience in a quality-focused role, preferably in metal fabrication or instrumentation.Ability to author and generate SOPs relevant to manufacturing and quality processes.Experience with CMTRs and their importance in quality management.Capability to manage calibration programs, including scheduling third-party calibrations.Understanding of welding certifications and ability to work with welding standards and documentation.Ability to perform root cause analysis to resolve manufacturing process problems.
Additional Skills & QualificationsDirect experience in metal fabrication or instrumentation industries is highly preferred.Familiarity with weld inspection methods and understanding of welding certifications.Experience with third-party certification processes in fabrication.Experience with SharePoint or similar document control/version control systems.Knowledge of NQA-1 or similar quality assurance programs.Ability to handle customer-specific requirements and create custom SOPs for unique projects.
