Quality Manager
Job Title: Quality Manager*

Pay: $75,000 - $85,000/year

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control within our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring that our liquid turbine flowmeters and process instrumentation products meet rigorous industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in quality systems, continuous improvement, and team leadership within a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.Lead quality assurance activities across the production lifecycle, including incoming inspection, in-process checks, final product testing, and customer feedback analysis.Manage and mentor the quality team (4-5 people), fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure product designs and manufacturing processes meet quality standards.Oversee calibration and maintenance of measurement and testing equipment used in flowmeter and instrumentation production.Interface with customers and regulatory bodies during audits, inspections, and quality reviews.Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and report performance to leadership.Champion lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve product quality.

Essential Skills

Extensive QC experience with 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in instrumentation or precision manufacturing.Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASQ standards, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.Experience with ERP and QMS software systems.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Certification in Six Sigma, CQE, or similar is a plus.
