How you will make contributions that matter

Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Quality Manager at our Leongatha manufacturing site. Reporting to the General Manager, Quality, you will lead and develop quality strategies, ensuring compliance with business, customer, and regulatory expectations.

Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets focused on quality improvement.Provide leadership and coaching to site quality leaders and teams.Ensure compliance with government legislative, customer, and export requirements for quality and food safety.Lead business continuity plans covering quality and food safety risks.Develop succession plans and development plans for key positions and direct reports.Drive a culture of ownership and action in health and safety management.Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.Maintain and implement quality and food safety standards and procedures.Ensure efficient and accurate sampling, testing, and clearance of products.

About You:

Tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent experience.Extensive experience in quality management and food safety/quality assurance.Experience in the dairy industry or other manufacturing sectors.Strong skills in root cause analysis and people management.Understanding of process control in quality assurance and quality control.Excellent customer service and business acumen.Ability to manage ambiguity and drive strategic initiatives.Effective time management and action-oriented approach.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to inspire and guide teams.
