Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Quality Consultant to join the Risk Strategy & Management Consulting team at a leading assurance, inspection, and safety company. The team specializes in supporting their customers' Risk mitigation and Quality Assurance efforts in various areas of their operations including R&D, compliance, governance, design, raw materials sourcing, manufacturing, transportation, distribution, and retail channels, as well as vendor and consumer management. The ideal candidate person will be responsible for developing processes, identifying regulatory requirements, outlining product quality market needs, support corrective action and improvement plans, and provide manufacturing guidance for their clients. The ideal candidate will be familiar with industry best practices to support and consult with clients in the various stages of the product life cycle from concept through to manufacturing and product launch and distribution.
The candidate is expected to have experience with DFMEA/FMEA-Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis/Failure modes and effects analysis, testing methodologies (including product labelling, chemical and physical testing, as well as package testing), and awareness of industry governance and standards. The candidate will be responsible for self-regulation and management of their projects, including on-time delivery of results from product and process reviews, document development, testing/inspection/audit management, and process consultation. They will also consult on disposition issues (recalls, compliant investigations, return analysis, vendor improvement, and conduct research and benchmark for quality trends in product categories and work with vendors and labs on quality results.

Skills and Requirements
- 2+ years of consulting experience
- 3+ years experience working in quality assurance
- Hands on experience administering the end-to-end cycle for products in product development, testing standards, process reviews, and recommending procedures
- Experience conducting research on regulatory requirements and standards
- A technical degree in Engineering/Chemistry/Science
- Extensive experience with DFMA/FMEA-Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis testing methodologies
- Experience in conducting assessment or applying GMP requirements
- Expertise in the Health & Beauty and/or Cosmetics industry Experience working with vendors directly and providing recommendations directly to stakeholders
