We are looking for Quality Learner to join our team. This role will allow a successful candidate to support the quality team, to learn, gain exposure and experience of working in the FMCG Industry. To independently verify that operator self-controls are in place and operating effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
Safety:
Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations at all times. (e.g.10 critical safety rules and three obligations)Quality:
Perform appropriate testing and verifications using set standards to identify product quality defects and highlight if operator controls are functioning effectively.Verify if results are within specifications and act accordingly if notAnalyze data/trends to make decisions with operations team and escalate timeously when requiredComplete all required trainings within the expected timeTake responsibility for own development and trainingResponsible for conduction quality verifications at RFP.Housekeeping:
Responsible to maintain acceptable 5-S housekeeping standards in the labs.Productivity:Communicate with outgoing counterpart during shift handoverDo routine inspections of products in the area of responsibility (based on a communicated schedule) to verify that operator self-controls are functioning.Perform specialist low frequency testing of products.Perform appropriate tests to highlight raw material defects and rejects including on-the-floor verification of NCR’s raised by operations.Communicate defects to operating crews so that corrective action can be takenEnsure that shift teams hold defective production and keep record thereofCheck centre lining activities and report non conformances.About Us

Minimum: National Diploma or NQF Level 6 preferably in Quality or Pulp & Paper/ and must be computer literate.A minimum of 1 Year of experience, preferably in the FMCG environment would be a significant advantage.Basic knowledge of laboratory and testing equipment.To Be Considered
