Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Lab Technician to join our team in a lab setting. The role involves conducting various tests and measurements to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
• Manage product check‑in procedures and verify specifications of finished goods.
• Conduct mechanical testing, including strength and tensile assessments.
• Perform precise width measurements with accuracy.
• Prepare samples for GC analysis, run tests, and accurately log all results.
• Review products to ensure compliance with established color standards.
• Test and validate seal strength performance.
• Document and maintain detailed records of all laboratory test results.
Essential Skills
Quality control and assurance experience.Laboratory skills.Associates degree or high school diploma with quality or laboratory experience.Experience with GC and chemistry.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment such as production, manufacturing, or food service.Work environment
2nd shift hours: 3pm - 11pmTraining will be on 1st shift for first 4-6 weeks from 7am - 3:00pmWith shift differential pay it comes out to $22.05/hrJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
