Job Title: Quality Lab Technician
Job Description

The Quality Technician is responsible for the inspection, testing, sorting, and sampling of raw materials, in-process materials, products, and finished goods. This role ensures that all items meet specified dimensions and are free of defects using precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment. The technician acts as the voice of the customer, working closely with production teams to mitigate risks.

ResponsibilitiesReview materials and supplies at reception to ensure conformance to specifications, including verification to bills of materials and certificates of analysis.Support organizational projects by adding value and providing assistance.Manage products and materials that do not meet specifications, including labeling, system transfers, and containment of non-conforming items.Inspect, test, and measure materials, products, and practices for specification conformance using drawings, test data, and operating procedures.Notify supervision and management of product or personnel non-conformances and assist in identifying solutions.Conduct product inspections and tests according to sampling plans, recording results electronically or manually.Essential SkillsProficiency in quality control and inspection processes.Experience in quality assurance testing and improvement.Ability to use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.Strong communication skills to relay inspection results and corrective actions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in general labor and production settings.Knowledge of quality standards and processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is indoor and climate-controlled, offering a comfortable setting for all employees. The position requires availability Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $28.12/hr.
