**Job Title: Quality Lab Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Quality Lab Technician, you will be responsible for the meticulous inspection, testing, sorting, and sampling of various materials and products to ensure they meet specified standards. You will play a crucial role in minimizing risk and act as the representative for customer interests, collaborating closely with production teams.
**Responsibilities**
+ Review materials and supplies upon reception to ensure they conform to product specifications and requirements, including verification against bills of materials and Certificates of Analysis.
+ Support organizational projects where your expertise can add value.
+ Manage the disposition of products or materials that do not meet specifications, including labeling, system transfers, and containment of non-conforming items.
+ Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work practices to ensure conformance to specifications using drawings, test data, standard operating procedures, and testing manuals.
+ Notify supervision and management of any non-conformances in products or personnel, including Good Manufacturing Practices.
+ Assist in identifying and solving problems as the voice of the customer, communicating inspection results and recommending corrective actions.
+ Conduct product inspections and testing according to the sampling plan, recording test results electronically or manually using provided software and forms.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in quality control and quality assurance testing.
+ Experience in quality inspection and improvement processes.
+ Ability to adhere to quality standards and procedures.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ General labor and production experience.
+ Familiarity with quality processes and systems.

**Work Environment**
Work indoors in a climate-controlled environment, primarily Monday to Friday with occasional weekends. Enjoy a structured shift with a night shift differential.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $28.12/hr.
