We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support a precision manufacturing operation in Loves Park, IL. This is a hands-on inspection role requiring confidence with precision measuring tools, blueprint interpretation, and independent inspection decision-making.
This position is best suited for someone who has worked in a machine shop or CNC manufacturing environment and is comfortable performing first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on machined metal components.

Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined components using micrometers, calipers, comparators, air gages, and vision systems (Keyence)Execute first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify compliance with specificationsRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, bubble prints, and process sheetsAccurately document inspection results in accordance with quality proceduresIdentify nonconformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actionsPerform receiving inspections for outsourced or incoming components as neededMaintain awareness of inspection tool calibration and report out-of-tolerance conditionsMaintain a clean and organized inspection area in line with 5S standardsCommunicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection or process issuesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and inspection efficiencyWhat You'll Bring
