Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector responsible for maintaining Quality Control Reports and ensuring all products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in inspecting intermodal chassis deficiencies and addressing quality and production issues.
ResponsibilitiesInspect intermodal chassis for deficiencies with on-the-job training provided.Ensure products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.Address quality and production issues, recommending and implementing strategies for problem resolution.Accept or reject finished products, communicating inspection results with the production team and upper management.Communicate effectively with customers.Supervise work in the shop.Essential SkillsAbility to inspect and assess chassis, looking for mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues.Capability to write work orders and notate all necessary repairs.Effective communication skills to discuss repairs and explain work orders with mechanics.Basic computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic mechanical knowledge is helpful.Experience with forklifts is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work is primarily outdoors, which can be very hot or cold depending on the weather. The schedule is Monday-Friday, with shifts from 6:00 am-3:30 pm or 8:00 am-5:30 pm. No overtime while on contract. Dress code includes a T-shirt, jeans, and steel-toed boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
