Job OverviewWe are hiring a Quality Inspector to perform in‑process inspections of sheet metal parts in a large, clean manufacturing facility. This role involves checking welds, bends, holes, and overall part accuracy against blueprints, while documenting all findings clearly and accurately.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in‑process inspections on sheet metal componentsInspect welds, punched holes, bend allowances, and anglesCompare finished and in‑process parts to blueprint specificationsUse calipers, micrometers, and other precision toolsRecord inspection results with accuracy and attention to detailRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience using calipers, micrometers, and reading blueprintsQuality inspection experience in a manufacturing environmentSheet metal inspection experience (welds, bends, holes)Minimum 2 years of inspection experienceAbility to stand for 10-hour shiftsWhy Work HereExcellent opportunity for growth and skill development50-cent raise after 90 days for strong performers with good attendanceAdditional raises and shift differentials available after 6 monthsOptional Sunday shifts paid at double time (after 6 consecutive workdays)Company-sponsored education opportunities (welding, engineering, etc.) once hired directWork EnvironmentLarge, clean manufacturing campus with three buildingsNot air‑conditioned; smoke‑free campus (no designated smoking areas)Assembly line + production environmentMandatory overtime may occur with advance noticePPE required: steel‑toed boots, eye protection, ear protectionJob Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
